Mr. Archie Alendo Cranford, age 68, of Winston, GA passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was born February 5, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Cranford was a locksmith and owned Archie’s Lock Shop. Archie proudly served his country and retired from the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and working. His favorite pastime however, was spending time with his family.
Preceding him in death is his parents, Thomas and Thelma Cranford as well as brothers Donnie and Tommy Cranford.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Cranford; daughter Linda Foster; grandchildren Tania Curry and Patrick Foster; brothers Eddie Cranford, Richard Cranford and Kenny Cranford; sister Renee Alequin as well as several nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5 until 8 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 6 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Archie’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org.

I remember Archie in high school, he was a sweet, caring person. So sorry to hear of his passing, Im praying for the family at this difficult time for God's love, comfort and peace.
