Oskar was an exceptionally talented engineer who able to apply innovative thinking to solving the problems presented to him. His many patients over the years speaks to his intellectual acumen.
He and his wife Claudia raised two fine children: Carl and Julie. I think Julie was allot like her Dad and was as brilliant and driven in business. Sadly, we lost Julie to cancer a few months back.
I remember Oskar liked his Cadillac cars and for many years would always trade up to that years model.
I remember his smile and his laugh. Infectious--although the stoic German stock he came from sometimes made him serious and taciturn.
He was a good husband to Claudia and a role model for Carl and Julie.
He contributed allot to this world during his time among us.
I will miss him.
