Chad Allen Jones, 28, of Charleston, passed away, Monday, July 24th, 2017 in Sissonville, WV. He was born July 25, 1988 in Charleston, the son of Traci Lynn Jones and Jody Jones.
He was a graduate of George Washington High and attended ITT Technical Institute studying Engineering. Chad was a devoted WVU Mountaineer fan and enjoyed watching many sports especially with his “Pops”, Herbert Jones.
Chad was preceded in death by his beloved Grandparents, Janet Lynn Jones and Herbert Allen Jones as well as his Great-grandparents, Lilly Violet Jones, Florence and Earl Snowden.
He is survived by his mother, Tracie Lynn Jones and father, Jody Jones; siblings, Dalton and Emily Jones; friend and companion, Kellie Marie Burnem; aunt, Laurie “Buffy” McNeely; uncle, Dave McNeely; cousins, Maggie, Kaigen and Brayden McNeely.
Chad’s struggle with addiction has finally come to an end. The worry that we have all felt watching Chad struggle has been replaced by a deep feeling of loss knowing we will never see his smiling face again. Despite these troubles, we can smile knowing that Chad’s struggles have ended. He is finally at peace.
Funeral service will be 3:00p.m., Wednesday, August 2, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor George Webb officiating.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
