Olga B. Eitzmann (Neuhart)



Olga Barbara Frieda (Neuhart) Eitzmann was born on January 10, 1929 in Carleton Nebraska to Herman and Anna (Elting) Neuhart. Olga was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Friedensau Lutheran Church in Hebron, NE. She attended Deshler High School where she graduated in 1947. Olga married Clarence Eitzmann on August 27, 1950 in Deshler, NE. After Clarence finished his second tour of military duty in 1952, they lived in York, NE and then later moved to Lincoln in 1955 where they lived and raised their family for many years. Olga was a homemaker and valued her family and her faith. She enjoyed her yard and garden and loved having her family together as much as possible.



Olga and Clarence were blessed with five children: Steven, Murray, Karen, Jayne and Kent; ten grandchildren: James, Jean, Kevin, Dayna, Elliott, Lauryn, Drew, Paul, Derek and Nathan; four great grandchildren: Ben, Max, Izzy and Claire.



Olga is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws, Murray and Kathy Eitzmann of Balston Lake NY, Kent and Kara Eitzmann of Lincoln NE; daughters and son-in-laws Karen and Vaughn Gebers of Lincoln NE, Jayne and Loyal Nyhoff of Lincoln NE; step-brother Harold Gerberding of Deshler NE; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephew.



She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister-in-laws Reuben (Mathilda) and Norbert (Lucille) Neuhart; husband Clarence; and son Steven.



Olga passed away on August 1, 2017 at the Tabitha Elizabeth House which she called home since 2014.



Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 8, 2017 @ 10:30am at Faith Lutheran Church, 8701 Adams Street, Lincoln NE. A lunch will be served following the services. Graveside services will be held at 1:15pm at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends can meet at Gate 2 beginning at 1pm to be escorted to the graveside service. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 4:00-8:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St Lincoln NE, with family present from 4:00-6:00pm. Memorials can be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
