Larry Charles Vaughan passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the age of 66 after his courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.



Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Angela “Angie” Jones Vaughan; daughters, Annie V. Biry (Stephane), Kelsi B. Schmitz (Gerard), Jodi Bernard (James); son, Eric M. Vaughan (Dixie); grandchildren, Sophia, Mason, Leah, Eliza, and William; sister, Donna V. Ryan (John); niece, Joy; and a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.



Preceded in death by his parents, Edna V. Marshall Vaughan and Charles B. Vaughan of Caulfield, Missouri.



Larry was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and he was a longtime resident of Metairie, Louisiana. He served in the United States Army and later worked for Roofing Products & Building Supply for over 22 years.



The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Gurtler and all caregivers.



Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM on Friday evening and continue Saturday at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
