"Remembrance is a golden chain
Death rises to break but all in vain.
To have, to know, and then to part
Is the greatest sorrow of one's heart.
The years may wipe out many things
But this they wipe out never,
The memory of the happy days
When we were all together."

Aunt Connie--You were a ray of sunshine and I know that ray is still as bright as ever in heaven. You are joining many family members who, I'm sure, greeted you with open arms. I will always remember what a special person you were in my life. Always interested in what we all were doing.

I'm so grateful to get to meet and love and Know Connie Kreps. She was the most amazing Grandmother to Josh and my beautiful daughter Sophie. I'm going to miss all her little snacks she would always have prepared for us every time we came to visit that we're made with such love. I have never met a more beautiful couple. I'm so sad the world lost this amazing soul. She treated my children like her own grandchildren. Some of the best memories my children will have were Easter Egg Money hunts with her and Grandpa Tom and all the golf cart rides. I'm going to miss you tremendously and your beautiful quilts and things you have given us will be cherished forever. I love you Thank you for everything and the light your brought to my life and teaching me what real love is.

To the Kreps Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Connie embroidered her love and kindness into our hearts. We are forever grateful to have been called her friends. We hold dear the memories of times we shared. I remember knocking on Tom and Connie's door one day and Connie answered the door with this huge black wig on and said she was ready for our dinner date. Oh how we laughed. I remember the day she handed me not one but two embroidered towels she had made for us. I felt so honored to be among one of the recipients of her needlework. I remember the day I came to her with tears running down my face and she took me in her arms and listened to my sad tale. I remember her Ritz peanut butter cookies. So many memories we shared. Although she is away, the memories will remain. Our condolences to the family of this extraordinary person. Peace and love to you all.

She was a sweet soul who exuded love, compassion and kindness. I don't think God could have created a bigger heart! I'm forever grateful to have known her and be touched by her soul. God bless her and may she forever be in the loving glow of the God she knew so intimately. Now she can sit front row for Elvis' nightly show in Heaven :) Love Jeff Simo
