Doyce Murl Smith, 73, of Fort Worth, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 5, 2017 with family by his side. As were his wishes, a small gathering will be held graveside at 11:30 am on Wednesday at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Doyce was a retired machinist and also served his country honorably in the United States Army. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Peggy Smith, son Chuck Smith, daughter Sherri Mitchell and grandchildren: Alisha Smith, Ashley Smith, and Emily Mitchell.
