Peter a.k.a Joe Chan was born on April 19, 1951 in Taishan, Guandong (Canton), China. He came to the US in 1973.
On August, 27, 1977, he married Terry Chan. They were married for nearly 40 years. They raised three loving children, Jane, Gloria, and Alan, two grand-children, Marykate and Evelyn.
He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on August 6, 2017 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
Visitation will be at 6 to 8p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Brookside Champioms Funeral home - 3410 Cypress Creek Pkwy, Houston, TX 77068
Memorial services will be at 9 a.m. to 11a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Brookside Champions Funeral home - 3410 Cypress Creek Pkwy, Houston, TX 77068
Burial will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetary.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember your father from all those times I hung out at your house in high school - especially his booming voice and his great laugh. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
