Benjamin Wayne Sears, Jr, age 54, of Bloomington, died Saturday evening, Aug. 5 at the I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice House. Born May 10, 1963 in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Benjamin Wayne Sears, Sr. and Florence Ann (Murphy) Sears. Benjamin had received a bachelor degree and attended Vineyard Community Church. He loved to fish, especially for bass.
Benjamin is survived by his sister, Kelly Anderson, of Greenwood, Indiana; one nephew, Zachary (Lauren Ryan) Anderson, of Bloomington; one niece, Kaitlin "Katie" (Jason) Waggoner, of Ellettsville, Indiana; two great-nieces, Alexus Thralls and Lennyn Andreson, both of Bloomington and one great-nephew, Knox Waggoner, of Ellettsville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 4:00 p.m. at the Vineyard Community Church; 2375 S. Walnut St. in Bloomington.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
