Judy, We were saddened by the news of Slim's passing. Not too long ago we had the privilege of sharing a meal with him at Vautrot's. We'll treasure that visit and will surely miss him. Our horse dealings with him are some of our best memories.

There is so much I can say about this man! But one thing comes to mind that means the most to me and I want to share it. At a time in my life when nobody wanted me or cared where I ended up there was Slim (PawPaw),I was Wayne's close friend in school and Slim and Ms. Judy took me in on the weekend and treated me just like I was one of the family. Is wasn't very long before I asked to live there and I was welcomed without hesitation. He taught us many things about becoming a man, Praised when we did good and gave us a PawPaw's talking and some road work when we did wrong. Thanks for teaching me all the things I know about being a cowboy, it was truly my honor to have known this Man! And to Wayne and the rest of the family I'm much obliged to have got to share him with y'all.

The World will never know how Much you meant to me. "You were my strength my reason for living". And of course as my sister has said the way he would say. " Roxann, this is your daddy" He always had a way of getting your attention. He was a GREAT MAN. I will deeply miss him.... He is now tending his Ranch in the heavens. Frog
