Ralph Andrew Cheek, 89 of Liberty, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 7103 Sandy Creek Church Road, Staley NC, officiated by Reverend Jimmy Austin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Newton and Cora Ferguson Cheek; sister, Ruth Thomas; stepdaughter, Nancy Aldridge,.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Grace R. Cheek of the home, daughter, Dawn Pugh (Randy) of Franklinville; son, Gary Cheek (Vickie) of Little Rock, AK; stepson, Jimmy Daniels (Kim) of Liberty; brother, Howard Cheek; granddaughters, Kari Lakin, Jennifer Spencer, Dana Keopple; six great grandchildren and a special son-in-law, Gene Aldridge.
