Gloria Berry LeDoux, age 82, went to her Eternal Home on Thursday, August 17, 2017.
Gloria was a lifelong member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Vinton. She worked for Fire Safety for over 20 years as a bookkeeper and secretary. Gloria enjoyed sewing and word puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed greatly.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are daughter, Brenda McClain and husband, Robert of Vinton; daughter, Pamela Fincher and husband, Doug of St. Augustine, TX; a son, Brian LeDoux and wife, Nichol of Vinton; six grandchildren, Dana Rogers, Brandon Martin, Kendall McClain, Cody McClain, Deven LeDoux, and Thomas LeDoux; six great-grandchildren, Michaela Click, Austin Rogers, Lundyn Martin, Zoe Martin, McKenna McClain, and Hayes McClain; a sister, Elaine Smith and husband, Jim of Vidor, TX; two sisters-in-law, Ann Berry of DeRidder and Virgie Marcantel-Mitchell of Vinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oley LeDoux, parents, Leonard and Annie Marcantel Berry, brother, Floyd Berry, two brothers-in-law, Huey Marcantel and Lucius Marcantel, and sister-in-law, Evelyn "Sal" Marcantel.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Hixson Funeral Home in Vinton with Rev. Doug Fincher officiating. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, and 12 until time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
