Marilyn Joan Fulford, 78, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born in New Market, IN on August 24, 1938 to Kenneth and Dorothy (Barger) Amick. She retired from Indiana University where she was in charge of the laundry. Marilyn loved playing Bingo, sewing and big family holiday dinners. Marilyn is survived by her two children, Anita (Mike) Russell and Randy (Mary) Fulford, both of Bloomington; her brother, Don (Dianne) Amick, of Ellettsville, five grandsons and two granddaughters, one great-grandson and five great-granddaughters. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her step-dad, Ralph Hardin, her husband, Paul Fulford in 2007, one grandson, Brian James Fulford, two brothers, Robert Lee Amick and Kenneth Amick, Jr. and one sister, Betty Jean Meadows. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 12 noon at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, Indiana 47401 in Bloomington with Rev. Michael Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Hindustan Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.Online condolences may be given at www.DayDeremiahFryeFuneralHome.com
