Raymond George Deutsch, 74 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away on August 17, 2017 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born September 26, 1942 in Webster, South Dakota, he was the son of Alois Deutsch and Ludmilla (Opitz) Deutsch. Ray was a longtime Division Chief in Supply at Tinker AFB. He loved bowling; fishing; vegetable gardening; the OKC Thunder; and the Kansas City teams, both the Chiefs and the Royals. Ray was a longtime and active member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, James Deutsch and Alois Deutsch, Jr. Survivors include his wife Alice (Vanderlinde) Deutsch of the home; 1 son Thomas Deutsch of Choctaw, Oklahoma; 1 sister-in-law, Marlene Deutsch; 1 brother Larry and his wife Nancy Deutsch of Beardsley, Minnesota; 4 sisters Mary and her husband Gary Lee of Milbank, South Dakota; Donna and her husband Mike Myrum of Browns Valley, Minnesota; Virginia and her husband Steve Kraushaar of Fargo, North Dakota; and Debbie and her husband Brad Cruser of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota; and a number of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1107 Felix Place, Midwest City, OK 73110. Following military honors being rendered by a U. S. Air Force Honors Detail, burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, Oklahoma.

We shared many Knights of Columbus ceremonials, honor guards, and other activities. We traveled together attending meetings in Jones and Harrah. I will miss him. I hope to see him again in eternity. Rest in peace Ray
