Sharon Frances Kelly passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2017 in Arbutus, Maryland. She was 74.
Ms. Kelly was born on April 18, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland to her parents Maurice and Frances Kelly. She graduated cum laude from University of Baltimore in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation. She worked over eleven years at Fort Meade for both the United States Army and the United States Air Force, directing athletic and recreational programs for military personnel. She left Fort Meade in 1994 and worked at Charlestown Retirement Center until 1999, then finished her career at Sheppard Pratt Health System. She is a proud graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore, Class of 1961.
Ms. Kelly is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Deanna Kelly, and grandchildren Regan Kelly and Ryan Kelly of Baltimore, Maryland; her brother Gil Kelly and nephew Sean Kelly of Boulder, Colorado; her brother Tim Kelly, sister-in-law Leslie Kelly, nephew Timmy Kelly and wife Megan Risavi, and niece Megan Kelly of Catonsville, Maryland. She is also survived by many beloved cousins and friends.
Sharon's life will be celebrated on Friday, September 1st, at noon, at Mathews 1600 in Catonsville, Maryland. All are welcome to attend. For further details please contact Kevin Kelly at [email protected].
