I have many fond childhood memories of summers spent in Lignum with Doris and Martha Reed. Martha Reed delighted in all of our antics and grand plans while keeping us filled with cookies and lemonade. To this day, no one tops her oatmeal cookies!
Singing the old hymns on the front porch filled our lazy afternoons then and reassure all of us now that she is in heaven!
My prayers are with Doris and all the family for comfort and peace and thanksgiving for having known such a wonderful and loving lady.
