Carolyn N. Lindsay, 80, of Pfafftown, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1937 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Dewey McKinley and Arlene Francis Nuckles. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James "Bob" Lindsay and a brother, Haywood Nuckles. Surviving are three sons, Byron Lindsay (Robin), Mark Lindsay (Teresa), and Glenn Lindsay (Anne); three grandchildren, Brooke Grooms (Ryan), Dusty Lindsay, and Robbie Lindsay; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Payton; and two sisters, Katherine Nuckles, and Norma Blacka. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Ramon Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 72104.
