CONWAY, Bill, 68, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 23. He and his wife Sally were married 32 years and made their home in Odessa. Bill is survived by his wife, Sally; son Bill Jr. (Robyn); grandson, Billy III; sister, Debbie (Dan); and brother, Michael. Bill made his career in the wholesale aluminum business in sales and management. He had been a gnarly, but proud member of the Gasparilla Krewe of Fort Brooke where he made many friends with his wit and humor. Bill had a love for fishing the Florida waters in his 17” Mako. He and Sally were members of the West Coast Mako Club for many years, often winning the Club’s conservation award. Bill’s wishes were to have no services, but to be remembered as a nice guy who loved his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity in Bill's memory.

Bill would have had a bawdy comment re:his 17 " boat mentioned in the obit for sure. I met my dear friend's future husband just before their cruise wedding. I immediately saw what had attracted her to him. Handsome, funny, and a gentleman. Later realized that our husbands knew each other thru Ashley. So glad that he had such a good life with Sally and that they made so many good memories together. That's all we can take with us on our last trip. My condolences, my friend. Ann
