Rick was one of the nicest guys at Oak Park High School. Smart, talented and he went on to become a fixture in the Kansas City music scene. RIP Rick

Palle Rilinger

I first met Rick when he was a fellow executive director and we served together on the board of the United Way executives' association. I was pleased to see him again a few months ago at a meeting wearing his CASA grant writing hat. He was a thoughtful, intelligent and caring individual. The world needs more people like Rick, and he will be greatly missed.
