FARMER, Trudy Elaine Ranck, of Powhatan VA, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 24th at the age of 67 with her family by her side.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, September 1st, 2017 at 10:00am at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church located at 1100 Mt. Pisgah Drive, Midlothian, VA 23113.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Tillie, and her best friend, Ginny. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie, two sons, Scott and David, step son, Stephen, step daughter, Stephanie, brother, Terry, 15 grandchildren, a host of beloved relatives and friends, and her loving and loyal companion, Koako.
Trudy worked for Bucknell University, Geisinger Medical Center, State Farm Insurance, and as an office manager for Ron Coleman and Associates for many years. She had a great love for music and sports. She spent many years as a former member of The Sweet Adeline's.
Those who knew Trudy, knew she was a diehard fan of the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. There was no denying Trudy's charismatic nature and kind heart. She was a very sweet and loving lady who always had a smile and laugh for those around her. Her family and friends were her passion, and togetherness is what warmed her heart the most. Trudy will always be remembered and cherished by many as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
