On August 27, 2017, Shirley May Scannell, beloved wife of the late Eugene Scannell, and the late John Jensen. Daughter of the late Georgia and George Fisher. Loving mother of Bonnie Slavin and husband Vincent, Judith Jensen, and Christopher Jensen. Sister of Betty Rumney, George Fisher, Richard Fisher, Robert Fisher, Mary Stutzman, Nancy Abernethy, Nelson Fisher, Ronnie Fisher, the late Doris Funkhouser, the late Jean Matsushige, and the late Melvin Fisher. Grandmother of twelve. Great Grandmother of five. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family will receive friends at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Homes of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm, where services will be held on Friday at 10am. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD 21157.
