Donald Ross Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 30, 2017.

Donald F. Ross, born May 22, 1924 in Mineral, Arkansas, passed away August 28, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas.

Don joined the Army Air Corps on December 10, 1942. A much-decorated war hero in World War II, he flew 35 bombing missions over Germany, then flew B-25s stationed in India doing search and rescue in China for airmen returning from Japan. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mazelle Ross of Mesquite, Texas, as well as his three children: Mike Ross of Gilmer, Texas; Debbie Ross Tudor of Laguna Vista, Texas; and Mark Ross of Mesquite, Texas, as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

So sorry for your loss. I remember how hard Don worked on the A/C at the church to keep it going. Enjoyed the music when the men played for us. Prayers for your family.
