Darren David Zubas, age 47, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Darren was born on March 29, 1970 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, a son of John David Zubas and Diana Booth Zubas.
Darren proudly served in the United States Navy for twenty dedicated years with honor. Following his time in the service, Darren worked for the Lucas Group helping transition U.S. Veterans to the corporate world. Darren loved sports and was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins, and Bobby Labonte from NASCAR. He never missed a game or race.
Darren loved the beach, it was his ultimate sanctuary! He also loved rock music and was a true rockstar. Darren's favorite bands were Alter Bridge, Led Zeppelin, Mötley Crüe, Metallica; pretty much anything that rocks! Darren played guitar, both electric and acoustic, and played alto saxophone in his youth. One of his most memorable features was his ability to make everyone laugh and to light up a room no matter the circumstances. Darren always put his family first and did everything in his power to keep everyone happy. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend; he will absolutely be missed by all who know and love him.
Along with his parents and stepmother, Christina Zubas, Darren's spirit lives on through his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Angelina Zubas; four daughters, Sara Zubas, Cheyanna Zubas, husband Jack Andrad, Stephanie Bulecza, Ashley Ludwig; two grandsons, Liam Nam, and Aiden Ludwig; one brother, Vincent Zubas, wife Patrice Zubas; In-Laws Elbert and Dee Crawford; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. His spirit continues to flow through his band of brothers, Matt Siska, Aaron Tackett, Fredrick Norman, and Ed Runge.
