Dorothy M. Borelli, 85, Brick, NJ, formerly of Union City, passed away August 29 in the care of Hospice at Holiday Care Center in Toms River where she had been residing under their excellent care.
Daughter of Joseph and Dorothy O'Brien Borelli, graduated from Emerson HS, Barbizon School of Modeling, attended nursing school. She held numerous secretarial and sales jobs, including Moore-McCormack shipping and Kohl's Dept store in- between traveling extensively.
She was an accredited First Aid, Ambulance volunteer in Union City and Brick Town.
She was a CCD teacher for the diocese of Newark, member of the Angel Ministry for Epiphany Church in Brick and passionate about the Right-to-Life Program and an active member of St Martha Church in Brick.
She is survived by her beloved brother Martin Borelli and his wife Dolores and their Children & families; many cousins and wonderful friends especially Laurie, Pam, Bob and Joanne who helped her so much in her final years.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4-7pm from at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street, Manasquan, NJ. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11 am at St. Martha's Church in Pt. Pleasant Beach. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
