Scott Edward Crutchfield, 56, passed away in his home in Boulder, Colorado on Tuesday, August 29th 2017. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2016, and continued to live a vibrant and fulfilling life until his unfortunate and untimely passing. His body will be cremated at his request.

Scott was born in Oak Lawn, IL, on April 5th, 1961 to Edward and Dolores (Rogers) Crutchfield. He graduated from Hoffman Estates High School in 1979, and he received his Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering in 1983 from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. In January 1983, he married Sheryl Lynn Greeley in Hoffman Estates, IL and soon became the father to Ryan (7/6/83), Jeff (11/15/84), and Daniel (3/14/88). Scott remarried in 2008 to Aicha Lahcene, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During Scott's 34-year long career in supply chain and operations, he was employed by Honeywell, Square D, Dovatron, Flextronics, Jabil, Crocs, Accudyne, and most recently Hitachi . He has resided in Illinois, North Carolina, Spain, Florida, and Colorado, and during his travels he has seen and experienced countless destinations.

He is survived by his wife Aicha: three sons, Ryan (Danielle), Jeff, Daniel; father Edward (Cindy); mother, Dolores; two granddaughters Avery, Collins; brothers, Mark (Peggy), Todd; sister, Christine (Matthew) Everett, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, Sept 10th 2017, at Flagstaff House Restaurant, 1138 Flagstaff Rd, Boulder, CO 80302, from 10:30 AM until 3:30 PM. Guests are encouraged to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family instead requests that a donation be made in Scott's honor to the St. Jude's Children's Cancer Hospital Network.
