Lylia Bell Prentiss, 79, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born February 23, 1938, to Louis and Autie Ward Henry. She enjoyed gardening.
A celebration of Life will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Brown and Bro. Haskell Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Malinda (Rick) Rorie; two sons, James Prentiss, Jr. and Alan (Angie) Prentiss; one brother, Floyd (Flo) Henry; six grandchildren, Christopher (Billie), Matthew, Casey, Autumn, Anna Grace and Abbie Rose; six great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Kristina Nunley.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, James A. Prentiss, Sr.; her parents; one sister, Dorothy Davis; one brother, Neil Henry; and two grandchildren, Robert A. Prentiss II and Rusty A. Prentiss.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
