Martha Frances Taylor, 71, of Dyke, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 9th, 2017.
Martha was born on November 5th, 1945, to the late Waverly and Edith Gibson Harris
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Harris.
Martha is survived by her husband, Elvin Taylor; brother Waverly Harris; sisters Margaret Morris and husband Russell, and Elizabeth Shifflett; a son Wayne Taylor and wife Billie; a daughter Rebecca Sandridge; five grandchildren: Gregory Sandridge and Tori, Madelyn Taylor and husband David, Patrick Taylor, Tiffany Sandridge and Zach, and Chelsea Sandridge; three great grandchildren: Kholton Sandridge, Noah Sandridge and Benjamin Taylor.
Special thanks to the family members that have helped Martha throughout her journey.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 at Free Union Baptist Church. Nathan Yoder will officiate with internment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens. There will be no family night, however, friends and family are welcome to visit the family home at will.
