Patricia D. "Pat" (Owens) Noel, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Pat was born on March 18, 1932, to the late Fern W. and Ellen (Springer) Owens. Pat was a member of the Waynedale United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Waynedale. She retired from Lincoln National Life in 1998. Her grandchildren were the love of her life, and she enjoyed their activities.
Pat is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bennett; son, Mike (Lois) Noel of Kimmell, IN; daughter, Jan (Don) Miller of Fort Wayne; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, 1 brother, and grandson, Josh Noel.
Memorial visitation will be on Friday, September 15, 2017, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home (6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819). Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Waynedale United Methodist Church (2501 Church Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46809) with visitation one hour prior.
Memorial contributions may be made to Waynedale United Methodist Church or to donor's choice.

Winterset will not be quite the same without Pat Noel. She was not only one of the nicest women we have ever encountered but also the BEST lawn trimmer of all times.
