Linda A. Shopoff, 78, passed away at home with her family by her side on Sunday, September 10, 2017. She was born in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Jack and Dorcas Merris. Linda was retired from Cottage Flowers and Gassfy Wholesale Florist as a floral designer. She was a member of Coventry Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband Carl; children Holly (Doug Eby) Shopoff and Craig (Jennifer) Shopoff; brother Randall (Gina) Merris; grandchildren Joshua (Kerie Roussey) Binz, Haley (Damon) Bennett, Graci Shopoff, Tyler Binz, Andy Spahr, Adriann Spahr and Austin Spahr and great-grandchildren Aliana and Addalyn.
Preceding her in death is her son, Bradley C. Shopoff and great-granddaughter Mayleigh Bennett.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday September 18, 2017, at Coventry Baptist Church, 10926 Aboite Center Road, with visitation one hour prior.
Preferred memorials are to Visiting Nurse Hospice.

Linda and I worked together at Broadview. She was my mentor and gave me a lot of guidance. With her easy laugh and pleasant attitude I looked up to her. She is forever in my heart. You all have my sympathy. God's Blessings.

Dear Carl, Holly, and Craig: I am so sorry to see that Linda has lost her battle! She was a dear friend of many years, and a woman of great faith! She loved her family and spoke of each of you and the grand- children with much love and pride! She will be missed! I have no doubt that she has joined Brad, and her parents and friends in her heavenly home! I look forward to being with her again some day!
