Ethel was a very special friend who I met years ago through Hospice when Elton was ill. She called often and from time to time we went out for lunch. Then she broke her hip and our contacts were fewer. Nevertheless, when we did talk she always told me she prayer for my husband and I every night.
The conversation always ended with, "I love you a bushel and a peck". I bet many could relate to that conversation ender.

Im so sorry for your loss. I work at the Elms of Lynchburg. Even though Mrs. Powers wasn't there long she always brightened up the room with her smile and she was so sweet and loving. She will truly be missed.
