Francis Gryn Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 18, 2017.

Francis Edward Gryn Sr., 70, passed away at home on September 16, 2017. Born December 30, 1946 in Mineola, New York, he was the son Francis Gryn and Mary Sikorsky. Frank is survived by his daughter Deborah Dalrymple(Scott Phillips), son Francis Gryn Jr.(Tiffany) and daughter Stacey Edwards (Robbie); six grandchildren Joshua Dalrymple, Francis, Ryan, and Tyler Gryn, and Skyler and Logan Edwards, his sister Carole Ragusa (Jack), half-sister Julie Statler, and of course, his dog Chance. He is preceded in death by his wife Bernadette, his parents Frank and Mary, and his granddaughter Jessica Dalrymple. Frank lived his life to the fullest, bringing joy and laughter to all that he meet. He was always there to lend a hand and never ask for anything in return, just to remember him as a friend. His warm smile and great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 12 pm – 2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm.

When we lose someone, friend or family member, it's not an easy thing to go through. The heart and mind reaches maximum reactions and who can tell how that person affected our life. In writing we may hint how we feel but God knows the depth of our pain. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you'll find comfort from Psalms 29:11
