Mrs. Leslie Parsons Stephens, age 57, of Stockbridge, GA passed away September 19, 2017. Leslie was born in Atlanta, GA. She worked most of her working career as a designer in a flower shop. Leslie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, painting, flowers, and sharing her talents of singing God’s Praises.
Survivors are her husband of 39 years, John Stephens of Stockbridge; children, John “Scooter” Stephens II and wife, Joy of Stockbridge, Crystal Alexander of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Jessica and John Stephens III of Stockbridge; mother, Joyce Parsons of Morrow; sister, Lisa Parsons of Jonesboro; brothers, Barry Parsons of Morrow and Johnny Parsons and wife, Julie of Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, September 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Billy Thompson and Rev. Alan Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in McDonough.
