We had some good times, back then working and relaxing together. We were like a family on a trip. We reconnected a few years back at a Berkeley reunion. It was very good to see shipmates again and get up to date. Seems like we found you and then lost you. Very glad we had the chance to visit.

Goodbye old friend. I will hoist one for you at each of the reunions I make. The good times we had on the Berkeley and Somers will always be some of the best parts of my life.

R.I.P. My friend. I am very fortunate to have been able to text back and forth with you these past few weeks. It was great sharing memories with you. I can't tell you why but I have a very clear memory of the first day you came aboard the USS Berkeley. I have great memories of the parties we had when we were roommates at 902 Gaviota.
I'll see you back in home port buddy.
