Levi G. Miller, 18, of Collinsville, IL, born January 29, 1999 in Belleville, IL, passed away September 20, 2017 in Collinsville.
Levi was an incredibly bright light in a dark world. His smile and laughter were contagious. He was loving and kind to all who knew him. He had a love for animals of all kinds and would have had a Zoo if his mother had let him.
Levi was also an avid car enthusiast spending many hours in the garage helping his grandpa work on classic cars from the time he was a little boy. Most recently his love for cars brought him to become interested in building a drift car with the help of his mentor, Ben Martin.
Levi, also enjoyed going on car cruises with others who shared his love for automobiles and zest for life.
His friends and family will miss him dearly and we'll keep his memory alive in our hearts and minds until we meet again.
Levi was preceded in death by his father, Wayne A. Miller, Jr; a sister Afton Miller; his grandfathers, Wayne A. Miller, Sr. and Keith Kettler; a grandmother, Beulah Shaffer; grandparents, Phil and Judy Bowker; and his Blue Tic Hound Roxxy.
He is survived by his loving mother, Kelly (Barry) Shaffer; a sister, Samantha (Ben) Schaefer; his grandmother Dianne Kettler; his grandparents Robert and Judy Burns; a step-brother, Jacob (Kaeli) Shaffer; a step-sister, Breann Shaffer; a nephew, Colton Schaefer; a niece, Maci Schaefer; very dear friends Dan Hughes, Rebekah Hughes, Miranda Hughes, Landon Hughes; his fur baby, Lucy; as well as numerous aunts , uncles, cousins and friends.

Our deepest sympathy to your family. Levi went to school with our youngest son Zachary Otero at Sts Peter & Paul when they were just little boys. He was such a nice and kind child and the kids were always like family. I will always remember the smile on his face. RIP Levi! Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family in the difficult days ahead.
