Miriam F. Moses, 93, of Bellville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Brenham, Texas. Born August 26, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of William R. Fonshell and Florence H. Fonshell. She was a compassionate nurse, a tough-as-nails army wife, a caring friend and a loving mother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Albert R. Moses; son, William R. Moses; brother William R. Fonshell, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Cresside Clark.
She is survived by her two sons, John Moses and wife Barbara of Austin, TX, James Moses and wife Dawn of Bellville, TX, daughter-in-law Cora Moses of College Station, TX; grandchildren, Eric and his wife Bonnie, Andrea, Lydia, and Colby; great-grandchildren Alexis, Rowan and Colton.
A private graveside service will be conducted Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to either the American Cancer Society or Brazos Valley Hospice.
