Sarah was a shining example of the difference one person can make in the lives of many. Going to visit my Mom and check on her care during her 6 week stay at Genesis, was often sad and stressful. I dreaded going through the front door. Then I met Sarah. She always greeted me with such a warm smile and handshake, and amazingly got to know my name and the names of all my very look-alike sisters! She would lighten my load at the door, just by being her own sweet self. My sympathy to Rachel, Benjamin, and all of Sarah's family. My family just loved your Mom!

I got to know Sarah when my brother was at Genesis on the same floor, I would always stop by and talk with her, she would always greet me when she saw me coming down the hall.

I always looked for Sarah when I spent time with my Mom at Genesis. She greeted everyone warmly and never forgot a name. She would always ask, "How is your Mom doing, Sue?"...and it amazed me that a complete stranger would care so much. But Sarah did. We weren't strangers for long though, and Sarah's light and kindness will be missed terribly, and never, ever be forgotten.
Rest in peace, dear Angel.
