Frances Inez Newton Woodlief, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2017 after a brief illness. She was a loving mother, grandma, and great-banny to her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Woodlief Heath of Raleigh, NC, a sister, Barbara Perkins of Winter Haven, FL, two grandchildren, Teresa W. Miller (Barry) of Creedmoor, NC, and Derek Wheeler of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Erica Nicole Miller of Franklinton, NC, and Leah Ashley Miller of Creedmoor, NC. She is also survived by a nephew, Kelly Hobgood of Celebration, FL and two great-nephews and a great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her mother Bessie McGee Newton and father Willie Hartwell Newton.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Rawls Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rawls Baptist Church - 10665 US-401 - Fuquay Varina, NC.
