Scott D. Eddy, 69, of Fairview Heights, IL, formerly of Dixon, IL, born January 5, 1948 in Dixon, passed away September 26, 2017 in St. Louis, MO.
Professionally, Scott was an insurance agent for over 20 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, #779 in Dixon where he served as their Exalted Ruler. In his free time, he loved to play golf. A musician since the age of 14, Scott played the drums for several different bands.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold L. and Geraldine L., nee Janssen, Eddy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, nee Schneider, Eddy whom he married in 2004; three daughters, Sharilyn M. Eddy, Stacia M. (Kirk) Staples, and Susan D. Eddy; three stepsons, Richard A. Wallace, John D. Bosick, and Michael J. Bosick; a stepdaughter, Cheryl L. (Eric Guenther) Voges; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild, two brothers, four sisters, and a very close friend, who was also his brother-in-law, Gordon D. (Sandy) Kelly.

Funeral: Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date in Dixon, IL.
