Lisa "Paige" Meek Cormier, 57, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 after a lengthy battle with leukemia. Paige was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on Monday, May 30, 1960 to John and Roberta (Bobbie) Meek. Paige was best known for her kind heart, motherly spirit, and big laugh. She enjoyed reading, Texas A&M football, hot baths, a big glass of wine, or a hot cup of coffee especially on a road trip. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially cherishing time with her daughters, Ally and Nicole. Most knew better than to play cards or board games with Miss Paige as her competitive spirit always proved she was a true Meek.

I met Paige at a Liberty Mutual Loss Prevention conference in Rhode Island on September 30, 1991. Although we didn't stay in touch very long after the meeting, I remember her enjoyable Texas accent and infectious laugh during the conference. My sympathy goes to her family and friends.
Paige, you left us too soon.

I am going to miss Paige so much. She was a very bright spot during my travels to Houston. Always good for a great laugh. Never took herself too seriously and was a leader in overcoming obstacles that came her way. She loved her girls and always provided me updates on their successes when I visited with her. She will be missed by so many, but I have comfort that she is in God's hands now. Love you Paige.

We are cousins who lived too far apart to get to know each other well. I am glad that we were able to spend time together at my mother's memorial service in Arizona in 2005. My heartfelt condolences to Ally, Nicole, Dale, and all family and friends.

I remember Paige singing at her in laws 50th wedding anniversary. She had the voice of an angel. We didn't get to have the reunion I was hoping for, but God had a different plan. May she fly with the angels.

I worked closely with Paige for my short time as a manager at Liberty Mutual and she was always willing to mentor and provide guidance. She spoke often about Ally and Nicole and her love for her daughters was very evident. So sad to hear of her passing.

Paige lived down the street from me in Plano during junior high and high school, and we both played clarinet. She was always sweet and always positive. Once she told me she heard the way to get rid of zits was to drink tons of water, so that is exactly what we did! I have not seen Paige in 40 years, but she obviously made a positive impression on me with her kindness and friendship, as I'm sure she did on others throughout her life. My deepest condolences go to her family.

Ally and Nicole, I knew your mom from working with her and loved her sense of humor. We laughed together about many things and did share a glass of wine a few times. She is a kind soul and someone I enjoyed conversing with. I am sorry for you having to give her back so soon. Peace and Blessings for both of you. May the Virgin Mary comfort you and shed her healing light on both of you.

In a company of 300+ employees at Lockton, I did not know Paige very well but we certainly knew of each other. My first 3 years here at Lockton I was part of the Office Services department of which many duties to be responsible for, was passing the mail. While unfortunately there were some people you would hope would not be there or would hope they be on the phone while giving them their mail, I honestly can say Ms. Paige Cormier was one of my few "favorites" and I always hoped she would be there and I would be able to say my customary hello. Why? Because each.and.every.single.time. I would be met with the warmest smile, the kindest eyes and the most hospitable reception. EVERY.TIME. You would have not ever known if her world was crumbling around her for she always came across as and treated people how everyone of us was taught to treat others -how you would like to be treated. While not a close confidant or family member of hers, Ms. Cormier's legacy for me in my world moving forward, will be of a person who was the change we all want to see in this world-especially if that change is kindness. I will never forget how she ALWAYS treated me with kindness, professionalism and at the end of the day was just a GREAT person to even spend 30 seconds to 1 minute talking to, for it would make you feel good and brighten your day even for a moment-it really would. I pray for and send my condolences and well wishes to her family members, her best friends, and everybody affected by her passing. I really wish there were more people on this earth like Ms. Paige Cormier for heaven has gained a true angel.
God bless you Ms. Cormier, always.
