Funeral services for Thomas Eugene Armstrong-Hull, age 79, of Blanket will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rock Church Cemetery in Blanket. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the funeral home. Mr. Hull went to be with his Lord Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Western Hills Nursing Home in Comanche.
Thomas Eugene Hull was born July 24, 1938 in Crosbyton, Texas to Herman Roscoe and Rachel Viola (Porter) Armstrong, and was blessed with foster parents George Brittain and Willie Faye (Farmer) Hull. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and the National Guard. On September 30, 1961, Thomas married Virginia Alene Thompson in Cisco, Texas. He worked for over 29 years at Superior Cable in Brownwood, and was a member of the Magnum Baptist Church. Thomas loved his wife and family very much, and he will be missed by them.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Virginia Hull of Blanket, sons, Kenneth Hull and Renee McClung of Brownwood and Tracy Hull of Blanket; grandchildren Amber and Logan Lewis of Brownwood, Brandon Hull of Brownwood and Josie McClung of Brownwood; and great granddaughters, Kynlie and Hayslie Lewis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Don Hull and sister, Dorothy Robbins.
