Robert Junior Gallery, 90, passed away Monday, September 25, at the Isle of Watercrest in Bryan.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 2 at First Baptist Church in Bryan with Rev. Tim Owens officiating. Private interment will be held at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery in Pasadena. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Robert was born January 12, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Ira and Sophia Gallery. He served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII, joining at the age of 17, serving overseas and state side. Robert moved from San Diego, California to College Station in 1972 and owned the Nissan Dealership until he sold it, it 1989.
Robert was a member of First Baptist Church in Bryan, where he was an usher and a member of the Business Men's Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the V.F.W. and the Lions Club. Robert volunteered for 13 years with Still Creek Ranch.
Robert never met a stranger, he loved the Lord, playing golf, cars, talking with people and he especially loved Alma Lois.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Lois Gallery; his daughter, Judy Ann Gallery; and a sister, Clara Ann.
