We were so sadden to hear of the passing of "Ms. Kate" as we so fondly called her. For many years our parents, James & Mary Bridges own property next to Ms. Kate on Hodges Road in Knightdale. We farmed together, ate together. cried together and the children played together. We shall never forget the trip she took to visit with Pres. Bill Clinton, whom she knew personally and greatly admired. With her being a white lady, she gladly road in the family car with us for support when our father died. We will miss her greatly!
