Summers, Thelma Ree, 92, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 3rd, at her home.
She was a retired inspector at the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant after 23 years and a member of Life Church Louisville.
Mrs. Summers was preceded in rest by her husband, Owen "Sonny" Summers; her son, David Summers; great-grandchild, Aleena Grace; two sisters, Katherine McFall and Mary Evelyn Givan; and a brother, Carl Givan.
Her survivors include her daughter, Diana Bissig (Tommy); grandchildren, Patrick Bissig (Michele), Toby Bissig (Jamie), Renee Johnston (Jimmy), Jonathan Bissig (Jenny), Meghan Andersen (Jeff) and Becky Summers; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a brother, James Givan.
Her funeral will be at 6pm on Friday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie, officiated by Pastors Patrick and Jonathan Bissig. Private entombment will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10am on Friday until the time of service.
