Jerry L. Duke, 73, of Little River, S.C., formerly of St. Albans, passed away September 23, 2017, surrounded by family.
He retired after 29 1/2 years from FMC, Olin and Clearon and then moved to the beach where he was a member of Shoreline Baptist Church. He moved back to West Virginia and then decided he liked the beach better!
He is survived by his wife, Judy Stanley Duke; daughters, Kimberly Barnes (Robert), Jeri Lynn Jenkins and Penny Cook (Mark); and son, R.J. Stanley (Mary); and nine grandchildren, Chris Cook, Mark Kelsey Cook, Devon Barnes, Ahvelle Jenkins, Jeane' Barnes, David Stanley, Marcus Barnes, Julia Stanley and William Stanley.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 7, at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV 25313, with visitation an hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to McLeod Hospice, 4000 Highway 9 East, Little River, SC 29566.
