Michael P. Mineau, 70, of Loves Park, IL died Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in his home with his wife at his side. In a life well celebrated, Michael married Darlene Nortch and together shared 49 years while raising their family in a home filled with love. Together they enjoyed their travels to Hawaii for their 25th wedding anniversary, Vegas, Mexico and cruises. Michael enjoyed donating money to the casinos! He showcased his talents playing pool. He was a cheerleader for the Packers. Michael worked as a machinist\inspector for Sundstrand for over 34 years until retirement. He was born March 5, 1947, in Oconto, WI to John and Margaret (Madden) Mineau.
Survivors include wife, Darlene; sister, Diane Cariveau; nephew, Andrew Mineau; very best and loyal friend, Casey Boquszewski. Predeceased by parents; sons, Richard J. and Robert A.; brothers, John, Richard, Terrance, Peter.
Graveside service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL. Condolences: www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com

I learned a lot from mike as a machinist at Sundstrand and he was a fun guy to work with. He was a better bowler than me but only a little.
