ALICE DEAN (ALKIE) MUGRAGE 85, of Cisne, Illinois passed away at 3:25pm Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Alkie was born September 22, 1932 at Fairfield, Illinois to Jeff and Helen (Childress) Vaughan. She married James H. (Sonny) Mugrage November 5, 1950 at Fairfield, Illinois.

Alkie was a mother, homemaker, and worked thirty-four years at Wayne-White Electric in Fairfield. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, quilting, needlework, cooking and feeding her family.

Alkie was a sixty year member of Cisne Christian Church and a member of Order of Eastern Star Lodge #970 at Cisne.

Alkie is survived by her husband James H. (Sonny) Mugrage, two sons Gary (Tammie) Mugrage and Jim (Vicky) Mugrage all of Cisne, Illinois; one sister Mary Helen Bondy of Paradise Valley, Arizona; three grandchildren Natalie (Jon) Hilliard, Jeff Mugrage, and Rebeccah Mugrage all of Cisne, Illinois and one great granddaughter Alice Hilliard; three sisters-in-law Pat Bradham, Sue Withrow and Donna (Tip) Butler all of Fairfield, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews and a special niece Patti Davis of O'Fallon, Missouri also survive

Preceding her in death were her parents Jeff and Helen Vaughan, in-laws Elmo and Verl Mugrage, sister Eula Christy and husband Ed, brothers-in-law Bill Bondy, Kinneth Bradham and Jerry Withrow.

Funeral service for Alkie Mugrage will be 10:00am Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Cisne Christian Church. Visitation will be 5:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery

Memorials may be given to the Cisne Christian Church or charity of donor's choice and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral home.
