Mr. Bates was a fixture on Cove Way when I moved here. My daughter was barely 3 at the time. She is now a Freshman at WVU and has many memories of Mr. Bates kindness to her, as do I. He will certainly be missed on our street. I pray that God will comfort all of his family and friends and give them strength in the coming days. Please know that the household at 1010 sends our sincere and heartfelt condolences and will do anything we can to help if the need should arise.
