The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever

My mom was wise and knowing without losing her girlish innocence. She welcomed all into her life and her home without questions or judgement. She taught me so much about championing those who are different, stressed, and oppressed. She showed me how to love with your whole heart and reflect the true values of Christianity. I will hold her and all she has given to me in my heart until the day we are together again in paradise.

I have so many wonderful memories of my second mom.
Thank you so much for all of our quiet talks, that all knowing look, your sense of humor, and your famous drawl! Loved you then and love you still.
Always in my heart.
Rest in peace
