Otto "Willie" Schwarzlose, age 78, of Bridgeport, IL passed from this life to the next on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport.
Otto was born in West Salem, IL to Leota Pearl (Mason) Schwarzlose and Harold Wilfred Schwarzlose. He was born and raised in West Salem, lived most of his adult life in Bridgeport, and lived briefly in Michigan.
He married Judy Quinn on September 11, 1961 in Albion, IL.
Otto was a truck driver and also a factory worker, retiring from Champion Laboratories.
He was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in both Bridgeport and West Salem and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #386 in Bridgeport.
Survivors include his daughter: Chris (and husband Richard "Dick") Ridgley, granddaughter, Courtney Ridgley, all of Lawrenceville; three nieces: Cheryl Quinn (and companion Clifton Luthe), Nikki (Joey) Breaux and Liesle (Travis) Tallman; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, wife, daughter Cindy Ann, two aunts: May and Tressie, and two uncles: Richard and Freeman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 2PM to 3PM at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem, IL. Funeral will be held at 3PM at the funeral home and burial will follow at Moravian Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to The National Kidney Foundation, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.

So very sorry for your loss. I was blessed to have known Willie for such a short time. I am the pastor of First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. I cherish those conversations we had. He was a very good man. I wish I could be at the service but I need to go help care for my mother who is not well.
Please know I will be praying for all of you. Thanks for sharing him with all of us who were privileged to have known him.
