My earliest memories of Richard were during Christmas times in Jenkinsburg Georgia. What wonderful times they were with lots of family and friends for so many years. Richard was a bit older than us, but as kids we could hardly wait for Aunt Ruth, Uncle Charley, and Richard to arrive. No presents were opened until family arrived. And then for so many years every Sunday afternoon Richard and family came to visit. I can say without a doubt that Richard was one of the kindest guys I have ever known. He was always ready to help out. We will miss you Richard, but are comforted knowing you are with the Lord.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
Richard was such a special friend to my father and the entire family. We value the love he gave us over decades. Richard and I were in our 20's when we first met. I share many special memories of times with him. The trip we took with dad to Bush Gardens, the many times he brought Dad to see me in FL,the time he made Daddy flight for the first time to come to my graduation from the Master's program, the winter visit to the farm when it snowed and we ran out to take pictures in the snow. We were so lucky that he was such a good friend to Dad and took him on trips when he was too old to drive or go alone. He has earned his seat in heaven through all his loving deeds. I know he and all his loved ones who have gone ahead are rejoicing on the Golden Streets of Heaven and basking in God's love.

My parents thought a lot of Richard and spent a lot of time in the Masons/Amaranths with him. He was so good to them before they died. He even helped me with a contact for the HR at the court where both he and mama worked. He will be missed by so many. Prayers for his family.

I was introduced to Richard by my mother-in-law Chris Glantz. Richard would arrive with a big smile, sparkling eyes and stories of where he had been and where he was going.
Hearing updates on Aunt Ida and his family-he spoke of them with such love-especially was a delight. His trips to various nursing homes treating the listeners with his piano skills, and stories of shopping trips with he and Chrismom were always a hoot.
I will miss my visits with Richard in Locust Grove. Rest in Peace Gods servant.

My son and I always enjoyed Richard's company at various social gatherings He was an extremely kind and compassionate man with a wonderful sense of humor. We enjoyed hearing him play piano and talking about our mutual love of antiques and cats. We are so happy that we were introduced to him by Christine many years ago and will treasure his friendship forever.

We are so sorry that Richard was taken so soon but know that all of us have gained a special guardian angel.
